Important note for 10's - 11/12's age divisions:
* All players in the 10's and 11/12's attending ranking sessions will be kept.
No 10's and under or 11/12's will be cut.
Players in the 10's and 11/12's age divisions will be evaluated at ranking sessions and placed on #1 team, #2 team, etc.

The determining factor for players age division is their age on August 31, 2010. Player's age on that date is their correct age division for USA Volleyball for the 2010 club season.

TRYOUT COST: $60 Payable to: Cajunland Booster Club
“No tryout fee” for players who attended the 2009 Fall Clinic
All players must mail:
1. Tryout Registration form & Waiver Release form {2 pages}
2. $60 tryout fee {no fee for 09 Fall Clinic players}
3. Payment Fee Contract {3 pages}
4. Check for dues {Paid in full or 1st payment of payment plan}
5. Attend tryout / ranking sessions {see tryout/ranking scheulde icon above}

If a player does not make the cut, the check for their club season dues and payment fee contract will be returned to them immediately at end of tryouts.
This procedure of collecting dues, payment contracts etc. before tryouts has been implemented to assure that only players/parents who are serious about playing for Cajunland participate in tryouts/ranking sessions. Dues are non-refundable if player changes her mind after being selected to team.

Uniform Sizing / Parent Meeting for all 2010 Cajunland club season players will be held at the health club by HILTON on date to be announced.

Cajunland Booster Club is a member of USA Volleyball, Bayou Region, and competes at a local, regional & national level during their “club season” with other USA Volleyball clubs throughout the city, state & nation.
COMMITMENT:
In order for any team to be successful, its players must attend practices and tournaments so that they can improve personally, and the team can form cohesiveness and continuity. All teams, 10's - 17's, will practice twice a week for 1 & 1/2 hours. See tournaments schedule for list of tournaments.
We expect all players to participate in all activities. Roll will be taken at each practice. Players may be benched if practices are missed and subject to dismissal if the problem gets out of hand. If you cannot make the commitment, you will not be fair to yourself, your team, your coach, or the club.
At this point it is important to note that all players have an equal chance of making a team, travel teams included. Past participation does not entitle a player to any special consideration.
